WoCAA Tent At OPGP This Saturday 3/8

This Saturday, March 8, is the Old Pueblo Grand Prix Criterium in Tucson, Arizona.  This is a fantastic event that draws cyclists to Tucson from around the U.S. and the world!

As part of the OPGP festivities and fun, there will be a Women’s Welcome Tent at the race hosted by WoCAA and El Grupo Youth Cycling.  The Women’s Welcome Tent will be in the Vendor Area in the Downtown Tucson Library Courtyard near the beer garden for the event.

You will be able to view the race from the tent, and we will be offering some light refreshments, including delicious product from Clif Bar!  This is sure to be a great place to watch the race and meet other female cyclists.  We are also encouraging some of the pro women competing in the event to stop by the tent to socialize, share stories, and sign autographs, so stay tuned for all the details.

The Women’s Welcome Tent will be set up by 3pm to watch the amateur men’s races.  There will be more activity starting around 4:30 in anticipation of the women’s pro 1/2/3 race, which kicks off at 5pm.  The tent will be open until 7:30pm or so through the pro men’s race, as well, which starts at 6:20pm.

We hope you can join WoCAA and El Grupo this Saturday at the OPGP in Tucson!
