CycloFemme Tucson Wrap-Up & Thanks!

CycloFemme Tucson was a HUGE hit today!  We had nearly 50 women show up today for the ride out to Tucson’s Loop Bicycle Shop.  I have a feeling that might be one of the biggest ladies rides Tucson, maybe even Arizona, has ever seen.  A huge thanks is in order to all the ladies (and one brave fellow) who came out to join the ride.  Many thanks also to the fabulous volunteers and Bike Ambassadors who helped lead the ride, as well.  Things went off without a hitch, and we beat the wind and heat!

I want to give a very special thanks to Mike and Bob from Tucson’s Loop Bicycle Shop for setting up a great event as part of the CycloFemme Tucson ride.  Mike cooked up some amazing tasty treats, there was drink mix from Scratch labs and some coffee, samples of the delicious Julie Bars, and some lovely shade to hang out.  Many thanks also to Mike for putting up so many great prizes for the raffle!  We had multi tools, WoCAA and Tucson Loop Bicycle Shop t-shirts, CO2 cartridges from Genuine Innovations, bike lights, and ear buds from Far End Gear.  Thanks to ReActivate for the great gift cards for the raffle too.  And the raffle for the GoLoco jersey discount will be announced soon, as well!  Seriously, you need to check out the beautiful GoLoco jerseys.  Thanks to all the supporters for making this event possible and so much fun!

Check out some of the photos from the event below.  Please let us know what you thought.  We’ll definitely do this again for CycloFemme 2014, but there’s no reason we couldn’t do something like this again sooner if there is interest.  Thanks again for a great day.  And Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there.  We even had some mother/ daughter groups today too!

Happy Riding!
