Women’s Cycling Survey

To all the ladies who want to see more women riding bikes, I encourage you to take this survey from the Association of Pedestrian and and Bicycle Professionals. The point of the survey is the help the APBP assess what factors need to be addressed in order to encourage more women to ride their bikes and to do so more frequently. It only took me a few minutes to complete the survey. Enjoy and pass along!

The Darlington Media Group’s “Beauty and the Bike” has kicked off a rousing discussion in many communities about why girls stop cycling. See the “Beauty and the Bike” post at http://www.BicyclingMonterey.com for a few suggested links, including the Santa Cruz effort to encourage more girls–and boys–to cycle: Project Bike Trip.

Thanks for the link, Mari. I saw the trailer for Beauty and the Bike, and it looks to be a great movie! Looks like good work in Santa Cruz, as well.
